Alert: Stegosauruses are roaming the earth again

Using a set of Makedo connectors to recycle old boxes, we made an amazing stegosaurus and wrote several news articles about him!

Making our first sensory tubs: Rainbow rice, fuzzies and dice

Sensory bins or “rice tubs” are not only for young children. Our 12-year-old daughter had a great time making rainbow rice and running her hands through it.

Hi from the Conciliotto family – a collection of humans and cats starring Ashar, who has been learning with us at home since Feb. 29, 2012. We haven’t looked back since that “Leap Day Leap” out of public school.

We consider ourselves secular unschoolers, or life learners, and the coolest thing about our untraditional approach (besides the ability to stay up til 2 a.m. and sleep late!) is that we’re ALL learning in ways we’d never have expected.
